Messages from Our Principal

The gifts of teaching and administration are noted as spiritual gifts given by God (1 Corinthians 12:27-28 & Ephesians 4:11). The gift of teaching is noted as a special spiritual gift provided by the work of God.  Within this context, Paul notes that the purpose of this calling is “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

The calling to the vocation of Christian schooling is a weighty matter given the influence that all adults within the school setting have on students. The Apostle James warns, “Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly” (James 3:1).
