Financial Aid Options

Applying for Financial Aid

Step 1: FAST Application
Please complete a Financial Aid For School Tuition (FAST) application. This application is available online and can be filled out by clicking here. FAST is a "qualifying organization," not a funding organization. FAST will report to the schools if you qualify for funding and at what percent. It is important to realize that the schools cannot guarantee that we can provide financial aid for your child at the level that FAST reports that you need. Our financial aid is limited to the amount we raise annually through the Arizona Tax Credit Program and other donations to our general scholarship fund.

Step 2: ACSTO Application
Complete the Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACSTO) student application. ACSTO is the tax credit organization with whom we are associated. If you have more than one child, you must complete an application for each child. This application (three-part form) is available in the school offices or online at www.acsto.org In April of each year, you must complete a new ACSTO application, a Financial Information Form and a short narrative on your child and mail all three directly to ACSTO.

Step 3: Finacial Aid Notification
You will be notified by the Business Office in April, July or November if your child has been awarded funds from ACSTO. These funds will be applied in total to your child's account.

At times our schools may also have scholarship funds that have been donated by friends of Christian education. The FAST is also required when applying for these funds.

As the parent, you play the most significant role in financing your child’s Christian education. Thanks to the Arizona Tax Credit Program for private school tuition, you can ask family members and friends to support your child’s education by recommending your child for their Arizona state tax credit. Family members and friends may give up to $1,000 if they file jointly or $500 if they file individually. This contribution may then be deducted from what they owe Arizona in state taxes. In other words, this is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit.

More information is available in the school offices, on this website, or by calling the Business Office at 520.797.0107 ext. 510. This is a great way to afford Christian education and take advantage of the Arizona dollar-for-dollar tax credit.

Please learn about this program and how Cornerstone and Pusch Ridge parents generated more than $1.3 million in tuition scholarship in 2009 so that their children could attend our schools.
