Cornerstone - Covenant Parent Fellowship

From the school's inception there has been an emphasis on "partnering with parents" at Cornerstone Christian Academy. In the very first year the Covenant Parent Fellowship (CPF) was founded as an outlet for parents to encourage one another through fellowship and to work shoulder to shoulder on projects to benefit the school.

Some of CPF's annual events include the Talent Night and Ice Cream Social, the Uniform Swap, the apple sale at Valentine's, and Gaslight Theater Night. In addition, CPF co-sponsors Grandparents' Day with the school board's development committee. On Meet the Teacher Day, CPF provides sign up opportunities for all parents to choose areas of volunteer service for the school year.

One of the most important volunteer capacities organized by CPF is that of Room Parent. Room parents are responsible to assist home room teachers in attaining classroom volunteers, planning class parties, obtaining transportation for field trips, and creating a photographic record of that class's school year.

Chapel

Parents are encouraged to attend our weekly chapels held each Wednesday at 8:15 am in the Catalina Foothills Church Sanctuary.
