Application Steps - Cornerstone

Welcome and thank you for your inquiry regarding enrollment at Cornerstone Christian Academy. We commend parents who are taking charge of their children’s education by actively seeking the right school for them.

Families interested in applying for the 2010-2011 school year are encouraged to attend one of our Open House events or schedule a tour by calling the school office.

Application
Application packets for the 2010-2011 school year are available from the school office, or can be downloaded from this site by clicking Admissions Application Packet.

Please return the Application, the Family Commitment forms, Church and Teacher Reference forms, the Transfer of Records Request (2-6 grades only),  and the non-refundable $75 application fee to the Admissions Office at Cornerstone.

For students applying for enrollment in grades 2-6, copies of the student's most recent achievement testing results and report card are to accompany the completed application.

For students applying for enrollment in Kindergarten and for all transfer students, a screening will be scheduled and evaluated by the Administration.

New Family Orientation
After the application and fee have been received, we will contact you to schedule a New Family Orientation.  We have New Family Orientations approximately once per month starting in the spring. New Family Orientations introduce prospective families to the philosophy and curriculum of our school by highlighting parts of the Arche', our schools foundational document. It is a critical document for understanding our philosophy of education.

Principal Interview
Once your application forms have been received and you have had the opportunity to attend a New Family Orientation, you will be invited to the school for a Principal Interview.

Reservation Fee
Students accepted at Cornerstone must submit the $200 non-refundable Reservation Fee. This fee secures the student's place in class.
