Application Steps - Cornerstone

Welcome and thank you for your inquiry regarding enrollment at Cornerstone Christian Academy. We commend parents who are taking charge of their children’s education by actively seeking the right school for them.

Families interested in applying for the 2012-2013 school year are encouraged to attend one of our Open House events or schedule a tour by calling the school office at 520.529.7080 or emailing Rebecca Shepperd. Open House dates are found by clicking on Open House in the left menu.

Cornerstone is excited to announce a new Kindergarten 5th Day option for the 2012-2013 school year! Our traditional 4-day (Mon-Thurs) morning Kindergaten program will now be enhanced with an optional 5th day for those parents that feel their Kindergartner is ready for that additional day in school. This "extra" day will be optional and primarily focus on enrichment subjects such as Art, Music, and PE. We will also continue to offer the optional afternoon Kindergarten program, Inspirational Afternoons.

Application
Application packets for the current school year are available in our school admissions office. Please return the Application, the Family Commitment forms, Church and Teacher Reference forms, the Transfer of Records Request (2-6 grades only),  and the non-refundable $100 application fee to the Admissions Office at Cornerstone. For students applying for enrollment in grades 2-6, copies of the student's most recent achievement testing results and report card are to accompany the completed application.

New Family Interview
Once your application and fees have been submitted and reviewed, both parents will be invited to the school for an Interview with our Principal and Admissions Director. Family Interviews are an opportunity for us to get to know your family, and for you to ask any remaining questions about our program.

Testing
For students applying for enrollment in Kindergarten and for all transfer students, a screening will be scheduled and evaluated by the Administration.

Registration Fee
Students accepted at Cornerstone must submit the non-refundable Registration Fee ($200 for Kindergarten and $250 for 1st - 6th grade).
